Multiplier's employer of record (EOR) Core plan costs $459 per employee per month billed annually or $499 billed monthly, according to its pricing page (checked October 16, 2026). Contractors cost $40 a month, Contractor of Record $400, and Multiplier payroll starts at $20 per employee.
Multiplier says it owns its legal entity in every one of its 160+ countries. The fine print: unpriced implementation and compliance fees, higher prices in about 11% of countries, and a 30-day lead time for every termination.
Multiplier is a global employment platform that hires workers abroad as an employer of record through what it says are its own legal entities, and also pays contractors and runs global payroll.

| EOR Enterprise | Custom | Custom | |
| Contractors | $40 per contractor per month | Not shown | The pricing FAQ also says contractors "start at $400", which looks like the Contractor of Record price |
| Contractor of Record | $400 per contractor per month | Not shown | |
| Global payroll | From $20 per employee per month | Not shown | Setup, implementation, payment and statutory fees "as applicable"; 100+ countries |
Source: Multiplier pricing page, checked October 16, 2026. About 11% of supported countries have adjusted EOR pricing; Multiplier does not name them.
Multiplier is the only EOR in our research that publishes separate monthly and annual prices. Annual billing saves 8% on Core ($40 a month per employee). Two lines sit outside the headline price: "compliance mandated add-ons" and an "implementation fee as applicable", neither priced. Multiplier's FAQ says there are "No setup, onboarding, or offboarding fees on any tier", which conflicts with the implementation fee on the pricing page. Ask which applies to you.
Multiplier payroll, for companies with their own entity, starts at $20 per employee a month in 100+ countries. See global payroll providers for comparable prices and contractor of record for what the $400 tier buys.

Entity model: owned entities in every country
Multiplier's FAQ says: "Multiplier operates through our own legal entities in every country, not a third-party partner network." Its EOR page says it has "owned legal entities in 160+ countries with no third-party partner dependency". Benefits are run "through a network of trusted local providers". Remote makes a similar all-owned claim for 90+ countries, and Atlas claims owned entities in 160+.
Treat a 160-country ownership claim as something to confirm for your country. Ask for the name of the Multiplier entity that will sign your employee's contract. Our employer of record guide explains why it matters.
Country count and data accuracy
Multiplier gives three figures by product: 160+ countries for hiring, 120+ in its cost calculator, and 100+ for centralized payroll. They describe different things, which is fine as long as you check the right list.
Multiplier's country pages are among the better ones. Its India page (updated Oct 15, 2026) covers the Labor Codes in force since Nov 21, 2025 and the new EPF ceiling. Its Brazil page gives employer INSS as both "about 26.8%" and "20% to 28.8%", and its EOR cost column shows R$ 0 while leaving out the EOR fee. Our Brazil cost page gives the full stack: 50.9% of base pay on the BRL 203,280 sample salary, including the 13th salary and vacation one-third. Our India page covers EPF, ESIC, gratuity and bonus.
Support
Multiplier's FAQ promises 24/7 support for EOR from its own local HR and legal staff, and "Every customer gets a named Customer Success Manager from day one". The contractor plan promises 24/5 human-first support. Reviewers on Sep 15 and Oct 2, 2026 reported unresponsive support and contract errors.
Reviews and complaints
Multiplier holds 4.7 out of 5 from 1,494 reviews on G2 and 4.8 from 2,871 on Trustpilot (both seen Oct 16, 2026; 95% five-star, 1% one-star). Trustpilot notes that Multiplier has not replied to negative reviews, and one reviewer (Aug 4, 2026) alleged fake five-star reviews. The negative reviews are few but specific:
- Fees and invoices: upfront accruals, currency markup and a year of insurance after a resignation (Aug 5, 2026); a held payment (Aug 30, 2026).
- Refunds and termination: a refused refund (Aug 19, 2026) and a difficult termination (Aug 5, 2026).
- Support and contracts: unresponsive support and contract errors (Sep 15 and Oct 2, 2026).
What works
- Lowest list price among all-owned-entity EORs ($459 annual)
- Monthly and annual prices both published
- No-markup FX claim, no minimum term
- Named customer success manager and 24/7 EOR support promised
Watch out for
- Implementation fee and compliance add-ons unpriced
- About 11% of countries cost more, not named
- 30-day termination lead time and 15% penalty clause
- Reviewers dispute the no-markup and refund claims
